Community Service

Our Community Service project for the year will be donations of throw size quilts to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Community Service will be donating quilts and pillowcases to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. We will continue to bring to the Guild meeting, kits for volunteers to quilt, or quilts that need binding. We will also bring fat quarters to sell as a fund raiser.

Thank you for participating in our community service project. It is only through the generosity of the members of the guild that we can make our community service projects possible. A few gentle reminders:

• All quilts should be checked for loose threads and pins before donation.

• Quilts should be free of pet hair and smells of must or smoke.

• Labels are available from community service, and should be affixed to the back of the quilt.

• Remember, these quilts are a special gift from the guild to these individuals. Take pride in your work and give something that you would like to receive.
