Try Improv Piecing

The August Workshop is August 12, 10-4:00 at the NLR Community Center.

The Workshop is free to attend and will demonstrate improvisational techniques including curves, wonky log cabin, and wonky stripes.

Once you have practiced the techniques, combine them into a unique creation. Below is what I made.

Supplies to bring:

• Machine, rotary cutter and mat, ruler, travel iron, sewing supplies.

• Fabric:

  • Solids in contrasting colors - 4 or more Fat Eighths

  • Background fabric, light or dark - Fat Quarter

If you wish to attend and have not yet signed up, there will be a sign- up sheet at the July Guild meeting. Attendance will be limited to 15 people.
